Safari artwork design splashback installation.

A project involving artwork blended into a splashback with a safari theme. As the project involved a scenery adding a standard image would simply not do the area justice. We decided to design ourselves a scene suited with the arrangement of the kitchen. The hob side was to have more of a safari leading onto a water that is the pillar area in the kitchen, on the larger side another scene fitted to suit the larger width.

With techniques such as printed glass, options become limited due to restrictions, we have found that designing from the ground up on designs leads to stunning seamless designs, rather than prints chosen from catalogues and websites. A well thought out design provides a cutting edge timeless artwork.

Challenging yet enjoyable, the project demonstrates the flexibility of artwork and how it can suit a glass installation well. We designed the whole layout prior to manufacture, made amendments to client requirements and manufactured accordingly.
